The Computer Lab in Coates Hall will be available on Friday from 4:30 PM until 10:00 PM for teams to practice. Any code typed during this time will be lost. Teams will also be able to register and get their packets during the early part of the evening.

At 6:00 PM, we plan to have the traditional Welcome (complete with Pizza and Cola) in the Coates Auditorium.

At 7:00 PM, we will have a brief Welcome speech. Representatives from Extreme Blue will speak briefly. Following this talk, we will have the formal review of the rules and procedures. Any and all questions will be taken at this time (hopefully answered also). It is important for all teams to be present during this time (if possible).

Teams will actually compete in the Coates Lab and several Middleton Library Labs. Team locations will be posted Saturday morning (7:00 AM).

Make sure you find out where you will be competing in time to make it to your spot by 9:15 AM. Saturday at 9:15 AM, the practice contest will start. When the Practice Contest is over, all teams should return to the Coates Auditorium. Lunch (planned Poboys and colas) will be served and a last minute Rules Clarification Session will be held.

At noon, the contest will start and run for 5 hours. At 5:30 PM we will review the problem set at the Coates Auditorium. Afterwards, the Awards Banquet will be held in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC) at 6:30 PM. .

During the contest (1:00 to 5:00), we would like to meet with the coaches. If the Extreme Blue Representatives are available, I am sure they would like to talk to the coaches and answer questions. After that, the LSU Computer Science Department would like to have a forum about curriculum.
